Hola!

We are just crossing the border back to America. We heard stories about people crossing the border and being attacked by the Coast Guard. Dad says they want to scare all the bad guys from entering the states so to do this, they scare everyone else. Apparently we are true Americans because we haven't been attacked. We are entering the states from Victoria and we plan to move in to Roche harbor for the night then over to Friday Harbor. We should be arriving in Seattle by 8/26. And we will be there for ten days. I am so excited to go back to Seattle. We'll be staying in Elliot Bay Marina which means showers every morning.
We arrived in Victoria yesterday at about 10:00am and spent the day as tourist exploring everything. We went to a little building and took a tour of a Miniature World. When you first enter the building it is a little disorienting. They built it so the ceiling would be really low. The gate to enter was short too. You walk through the gate down the hall and enter Miniature space. All the planets are as big as my head. There are little space ships and tiny little people all over the place. I almost ran into one. After the space room/exhibit, there was a civil war exhibit showing scenes from the civil war, World War l, World War ll, and the Boston Tea party. All the exhibits were really detailed, and one man built the worlds smallest functional saw mill. After all that they had fantasy exhibits and extremely detailed dollhouses. All the dollhouses had actual china and real wooden chests. Beds had real bedcovers on them and the chairs and sofas were custom made, just tiny.
We walked over to the mall after that and had a true Canadian lunch. A&W. :) We spent the rest of the day just wandering shops and a grocery store. A fun day in Victoria.
